Job summary

Artis Recruitment is seeking an experienced Compliance Team Leader with law firm experience to own a high-performing compliance function and protect the firm, its clients and its reputation.

You will lead a 12+ FTE compliance team, advising partners and senior stakeholders, embedding regulatory requirements into how the firm operates, and shaping the function through proactive risk management.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a compliance function in a law firm or professional services

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the compliance team (12+ FTE)
• Oversee day-to-day compliance activity, policies and controls
• Advise lawyers and senior stakeholders on regulatory and risk matters
• Monitor regulatory developments and translate into practical action
• Support AML, KYC, sanctions, conflicts and other compliance processes
• Manage reviews, investigations and escalations
• Identify emerging risks and recommend solutions
• Collaborate with senior leadership, risk, legal and operations
