Day-to-day tasks & responsibilities:

• Assist a Director and Senior Law Accountant with a caseload of primarily litigated insurance costs work, as part of a team of three
• Work on Scottish cases, including RTA, EL/PL, and Disease cases
• Consideration of accounts
• Preparation of objections
• Negotiations with third-party agents
• Drafting accounts for recovery of expenses

What we are looking for:

• SOLAS qualification is required
• Experience in a legal cash room is desirable
• Experience in personal injury is a plus
• Experience in assessing and negotiating accounts of expenses
• Experience in drafting accounts
• Experience in preparing points of objection/response
