The opportunity

We have an opportunity for a diligent law student in their 1st or 2nd year of their studies to join our Liverpool Office focusing on the areas of Property and Commercial Law. We are looking for an applicant who has a keen interest in these areas of lawwith opportunities for progression, within our growingpractice.

Skills and experience we would love

We expect that the successful applicant would:

be able to work a minimum of 3 days a week;

possess excellent written and verbal communication skills;

have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build long-lasting relationships;

strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills;

provide a high-quality client service;

be able to work in a team environment;

have effective time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks and tight deadlines;

have solid academic results; and

Familiarity with commercial and retail leasing, business contracts and PEXA is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities but not limited to:

assisting the Partner/Lawyer with managing property, leasing and commercial matters from engagement to settlement;

assisting in the drafting, reviewing, and editing of leases, business contracts and other property and commercial law related documents under the supervision of the Partner/Lawyer;

assisting in drafting legal advice and memos on various legal matters;

liaising with clients, real estate agents, accountants and other law firms in regards to property and commercial matters;

organising and managing property and commercial files, ensuring all necessary documents are accurately maintained and easily accessible;

conducting legal research on relevant laws and legal developments to ensure the provision of accurate and up-to-date legal advice;

assisting in due diligence activities such as conducting property and corporate searches; and
