Our Warrington site is also known as the Italian centre of excellence. Recent expansion and investment have made this site a state-of-the-art manufacturing unit! We produce high-quality Italian ready meals for Tesco & Co-Op.

What you'll be doing

Working within an exciting and fast-paced environment, you will be a key member of our technical team, ensuring the service we provide to our customers is of exceptional quality. The role can be physically demanding with a good amount of pushing, pulling, and lifting involved.

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, 17:30 - 05:30

Pay Rate: £12.59 per hour

Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day laundry activities in line with daily requirements, ensuring operational integrity
• Review equipment and highlight damage, escalating risks to the appropriate personnel
• Ensure that chemicals are used and stored correctly
• Clean wellingtons
• Complete all paperwork accurately and submit to the correct personnel
• Follow work instructions and report issues to the Hygiene Senior Operator
• Promote a good health, safety, and environmental culture within the department
• Identify and suggest sustainable improvements to increase quality and performance
• Flexibility to cover other areas as needed

What we're looking for

• Good level of English & Maths
• Hygiene experience within a food manufacturing environment is preferred but not mandatory
• Basic understanding of Health & Safety and Food Hygiene
• Ability to work independently
• Right first-time approach
