HC-One Ltd. is seeking a Laundry Assistant to join our caring teams across Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes.

The role is 33 hours per week, focusing on washing, drying, ironing and repairing linen with a pride in keeping our residents looking and feeling their best. You will manage linen stocks, ensure timely distribution and return, and work with a friendly, respectful approach to residents and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred, training provided
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Brilliant communicator and friendly, polite demeanor
• Safeguarding training or willingness to undertake training

Responsibilities

• Wash, dry, iron and repair linen and clothing as needed
• Maintain linen stocks for day-to-day use
• Distribute clean items to rooms and return used items
• Uphold high standards of tidiness and care in the laundry area
• Support a warm, safe environment for residents
