Job summary

HC-One Ltd. is seeking a Laundry Assistant to support our care homes by washing, drying, ironing and repairing items while keeping linen stocks ready for residents. This 33-hour-per-week role requires care, punctuality and a positive approach.

We provide full training and value excellent time management, organisational skills and a kind, communicative attitude with residents and colleagues. Benefits include DBS/PVG, free uniform, meals during shifts, a company pension, and generous leave.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred; training provided.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Brilliant communicator who listens as well as gives instruction.
• Safeguarding training appropriate to the role.

Responsibilities

• Washes, dries, irons and repairs linen and clothing as needed.
• Maintains linen stocks and reports issues to Senior Housekeeper.
• Folds/separates linen and distributes to correct rooms.
• Creates a well-maintained, kind, and tidy laundry environment.
