LAUNDRY INSTALLATION ENGINEER

Location: Southwest - Bristol, Gloucester, Swindon area; M62 - Manchester, Leeds, Bradford etc.

A worldwide manufacturer of commercial laundry equipment is seeking two additional Installation Engineers due to continued sales growth.

Responsibilities:

• Undertake the installation of commercial laundry equipment, including electrical & gas washers, dryers, and finishing equipment.
• Work with an assistant or within a team across a region, with some nationwide travel, which may require occasional overnight stays.
• Receive initial and ongoing manufacturer/product training.

Requirements:

• Field Service Engineer with electro-mechanical or gas & electrical experience.
• Ability to use a multi-meter.
• Laundry Engineer, White Goods Engineer, or Domestic Appliance Engineer experience is advantageous.
• Full UK driving license.
• Gas ACS qualification desirable (training available after probation).
• Ability to undertake electrical termination & installation of pipework.
• Experience working on commercial laundry brands such as Miele, Electrolux, Girbau, JLA is advantageous.
• Experience working on domestic appliances such as Beko, Whirlpool, Haier, Bosch, Fisher Paykel, Hotpoint, Smeg, etc., is advantageous.

Hours & Remuneration:

• Circa £45,000 basic salary.
• Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours per week.
• Paid travel, door-to-door.
• Overtime paid at x1.5 or x2.
• Company van (automatic transit, fully equipped, available for personal use).
• Uniform, tools, phone, PDA provided.
• 28 days holiday plus bank holidays.
• Private healthcare scheme and company pension scheme.
