Job summary

Coventry City Council is recruiting a Laundry Domestic Assistant within Housing with Care. The role involves maintaining tenants' laundry and linen to a high standard and cleaning tenants flats as part of a supportive team.

You will work 9:00 am – 3:00 pm on weekdays, in a permanent part-time position at Knightlow Lodge or Copthorne Lodge with potential relief contracts. DBS check applies and right to work in the UK is required.

Qualifications

• Good oral and written communication with a variety of people.
• Awareness/knowledge of Health & Safety procedures.
• Ability to work alone and prioritise workload.
• Willingness to attend relevant training when necessary.
• Flexibility and reliability are key requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure tenants' personal laundry and linen are maintained to a high standard.
• Clean tenants flats as part of a housing with care team.
• Provide support and rehabilitation to tenants.
• Adhere to Health & Safety regulations.
