Job summary

Nazareth is seeking a Laundry Assistant for our care home. You will join a friendly team and be responsible for all laundry duties, including washing, drying, ironing and repairing items to keep clothing in excellent condition.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning and/or laundry experience is preferred but not required.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team and alone.
• Ability to prioritise tasks, be flexible, energetic and hard-working.
• Strong time management and organisational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Wash, dry, iron and repair items as needed to maintain clothing quality.
• Maintain high standards of laundry within the home.
• Keep linen stocks stocked for daily use.
• Carry out laundry duties with pride and accuracy.
