Job summary

Holmes Care Group LTD is seeking a Laundry Assistant for Roselea House in Bank, Scotland. The role involves laundering bedding, towels, and soft furnishings, maintaining a clean laundry area, and supporting residents, staff and visitors as part of a caring team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure items are appropriately separated and laundered according to washing/drying instructions
• Launder all linen, including bedding, table cloths, towels and soft furnishings as required
• Ensure personal items are collected and returned within a reasonable timescale to their owner
• Maintain the laundry area in a tidy and safe condition and notify the Housekeeper of any safety hazards or defective equipment
• Perform general cleaning duties as required
• Develop a positive relationship with all residents, staff and visitors by becoming an important part of the team
