Midlands Care is seeking a Laundry Assistant for Linden Lodge Residential in Dordon. You will sort, wash, dry, fold and iron linen, while maintaining hygiene standards and COSHH compliance. Training is provided, and you will support residents with dignity in a care-home setting.

Qualifications

• No prior care experience required; full training provided.
• Basic numeracy and literacy, and good spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Sorting, washing, drying, folding and ironing personal and household linen.
• Inspecting garments for damage, repairing minor tears and replacing buttons.
• Organising and returning clean laundry to designated areas and resident storage.
• Maintaining hygiene and cleanliness within laundry areas and COSHH compliance.
• Monitoring stock levels of laundry supplies and reporting shortages.
• Supporting residents respectfully when handling personal clothing with dignity.
• Participating in training programmes and induction to improve skills.
• Available for a range of shift patterns, including part‑time and full‑time positions.
