Job summary

Runwood Homes Limited is seeking a Laundry Assistant to join the support services team. You will operate washing machines, dryers and ironing equipment, ensuring high standards and timely completion of laundry for residents. Job description

As a Laundry Assistant, you will be a member of the support services team. Your main Laundry Assistant responsibilities will be to ensure the laundry of residents and general care home is completed in a professional and timely manner. This includes using washing machines, dryers, and ironing equipment safely and efficiently as well as neatly folding, hanging, or preparing clean laundry for redistribution. Your daily tasks as a Laundry Assistant include keeping the laundry area clean, tidy and organised as well as following health and safety standards to avoid contamination and accidents.
