The Laundry Assistant ensures linen is available for departments, maintains linen room cleanliness, and manages stock receipt.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing linen to departments upon request
  • Implementing quality controls and rejecting exceptions
  • Maintaining linen room cleanliness
  • Performing stock takes and maintaining par stocks
  • Receiving and safely storing stock
  • Managing customer service issues efficiently
  • Overseeing linen issuing via requisition system
  • Adhering to Health and Safety regulations
  • Performing other tasks as directed by management

Ideal candidate qualities:

  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work independently or in a team
  • Flexibility for late shifts
  • Methodical and well-organized

Preferred experience in hotel or laundry operations is advantageous.
