Job summary

Barchester Healthcare Homes Limited is seeking a dedicated Laundry Assistant to support our care home's residents with clean clothing and bedding, helping them feel comfortable and at home.

Dual weekday shifts (2 x 7am-4pm per week) offer a flexible, rewarding role where you sort, wash, dry, iron and contribute to the home’s tidy environment while building rapport with residents and colleagues.

Full training is provided and opportunities to grow within the group.

ABOUT THE ROLE

2 x 7am-4pm shifts per week
As a Laundry Assistant at a Barchester care home, you'll help to make sure our residents receive quality care and support in the best possible surroundings. By making sure each resident has clean clothing and bedding, you'll be playing your own part in helping everyone to feel comfortable and at home. The role of Laundry Assistant involves sorting, washing, drying, ironing and contributing to the overall look and feel of the home. It's a great way to get a sense of what it takes to keep everything running smoothly in our homes and it could open up other opportunities as you develop.
