Barchester Healthcare is seeking a friendly Laundry Assistant for one of our care homes in Bedlington. You will manage resident laundry, ensuring clothes and linens are clean and ready for daily use, helping residents feel at home and comfortable.

You will receive training and support, with opportunities to grow within the care home team and learn more about the essential services that keep our homes running smoothly.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Laundry Assistant at a Barchester care home, you’ll help to make sure our residents receive quality care and support in the best possible surroundings. By making sure each resident has clean clothing and bedding, you’ll be playing your own part in helping everyone to feel comfortable and at home. The role of Laundry Assistant involves sorting, washing, drying, ironing and contributing to the overall look and feel of the home. It’s a great way to get a sense of what it takes to keep everything running smoothly in our homes and it could open up other opportunities as you develop.
