Laundry Assistant based at Beechville, Bolton

Available Hours:

Salary £12.60 per hour

Please note we are only accepting candidates currently living within a 45 minute commute of the Care Home

About the role

As a Laundry Assistant at MHA, you will be part of a dedicated team who maintain the general cleanliness of the residents bedding, linen and personal clothing in a way that respects their dignity.

Duties will be varied and include washing, drying, ironing and repairing laundry items for residents. Every day will be different, and you will have the opportunity to use your skills to make a real difference.

About you

The right values, attitude and behaviours are more important than your previous career background. Therefore, whilst previous experience is desirable, your respect for older people and willingness to undertake training is more important.

You dont need any qualifications to get started as a Laundry Assistant. You will have a kind, warm and caring nature and be able to work well as part of a team but also use your own initiative.
