Autumn Grange Nursing Home in Creswell is seeking a Laundry Assistant to join the dedicated team. The role involves maintaining linen, towels and clients’ clothing, and ensuring a clean, safe laundry area with washers and dryers in operation.

The position offers a rota that includes weekends and bank holidays, with 29.75 hours weekly, a contributory pension, and an induction program to help you settle in. Refer a Friend bonus and on-site parking are also available.

• Maintain cleanliness of linen, towels and Clients’ personal clothing; keep laundry room and equipment clean (washers, dryers, bags, lint trays, vents, floors).

We are recruiting for a Laundry Assistant to join our dedicated team at Autumn Grange Nursing Home, Creswell, S80. At Autumn Grange, we provide care and nursing support to older adults and those living with dementia.

• Rate of Pay: £12.80 per hour
• Hours: 29.75 hours, working on a rota including weekends and bank holidays
• Schedule: 2 shifts (17 hours) 1 week, 5 shifts (42.5 hours) the following week.

Responsibilities can include but are not limited to:

As a Laundry Assistant, you will work as part of a team to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene within the nursing home, whilst ensuring a safe, comfortable environment. You will maintain the cleanliness of linen, towels, and Clients’ personal clothing alongside ensuring the laundry room and equipment remains clean and tidy. This will include washers, dryers, laundry bags, lint trays, vents and floors.
