Job summary

Woolacombe Bay Holiday Parks is seeking Laundry Assistants for our Commercial Laundry site in Mullacott, Ilfracombe. This seasonal role launders bedding for our parks, handles sorting, loading, and unloading machines, and delivers linen to our parks.

Training is provided; candidates must be available for evenings and weekends. The position is off-site, with full uniform provided and access to employee discounts and pension contributions.

Responsibilities

• Duties involve working in our commercial laundry where we launder the bedding for our parks. This includes the sorting of bedding, loading and un-loading of machines for washing and drying.
• Use of the ironing machine and making up bedding packs.
• Working both within a team and independently. Must be able to work unsupervised and to use own initiative as/when the role requires.
• Reporting any machine faults quickly to reduce any down time.
• Attention to detail to ensure the high presentation standards of the linen are met.
• Assist with delivery of linen to our parks.
• Understand that the needs of the business require your working hours to be flexible and that working start and finish times may change to ensure the linen is delivered on time.
• Experience is not essential as full training will be provided.
