Dust aAway Professional Cleaning Services in Glasgow is seeking a meticulous Laundry Assistant to join our on-site team at Woodlands Road. You will ensure linens and clothing are cleaned, pressed, and neatly stored to uphold high cleanliness standards.

The role involves operating washers, dryers and ironing equipment, sorting and stocking linens, inspecting items for damage, and maintaining a tidy laundry area to support our public self-service facility.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and press hotel linens and guests' clothing
• Inspect items for stains or damage and report any issues to the supervisor
• Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and ironing machines
• Maintain cleanliness in the laundry area and equipment
• Organise and stock clean linens

Job description

We are seeking a meticulous Laundry Assistant to join our team at a store in the heart of the city. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring all linens and clothing are cleaned, pressed, and neatly stored to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation within a new to industry site at Woodlands Road that serves the public between 9am and 5.30pm Mon to Sunday , the store also provides machines for self service laundry too
