Job Title: Laundry Assistant

At HC One, kindness is central to everything we do. Our Laundry Assistants play a vital role in our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes by maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and care for our residents' clothing and linen.

Responsibilities include:

1. Washing, drying, ironing, and repairing clothing and linen as needed.
2. Maintaining linen stocks and re-distributing clothing to the correct rooms with a sense of kindness and pride.
3. Ensuring the laundry area is safe, clean, and well-organized, reflecting your attention to detail.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Positive energy, good communication skills, and a considerate, kind attitude towards residents and colleagues.

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect, and to report concerns appropriately.
• Participation in safeguarding training and other role-specific training.
