Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an experienced Commissioning Home Manager to lead the opening of a new luxury care home scheduled for later this year. You will manage the pre-opening plan, recruit and develop a high-performing team, build occupancy through community engagement and ensure quality care and governance standards.

Qualifications

• Experience leading care home operations and commissioning.
• Strong understanding of CQC requirements and safeguarding.
• Proven ability to recruit, develop and retain care teams.
• Commercial awareness including occupancy, budgeting and agency management.
• Proven track record of improving standards and occupancy.

Responsibilities

• Lead the pre-opening plan and ensure operational readiness for launch.
• Recruit, induct and develop a high-performing care, nursing, hospitality and support team.
• Build occupancy through local relationship building and community engagement.
• Establish links with local authorities, commissioners and healthcare professionals.
• Ensure compliance with CQC, safeguarding, health and safety and governance requirements.
• Provide visible leadership across care, clinical practice, hospitality and the home environment.
