Ryder Reid Legal is recruiting on behalf of our leading law firm client for a Lateral Recruitment Manager to join their London office on a 3-6 month contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a globally renowned firm in a key recruitment role, supporting the hiring of Associates and Special Counsel in London.

The Lateral Recruitment Manager will lead the end-to-end recruitment process for lateral legal hires across the London office. You will be part of a collaborative HR team alongside a Recruitment & Inclusion Advisor and work cross-functionally with global teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of lateral Associate and Special Counsel recruitment in the London office.
  • Partner with Practice Group Heads to define hiring needs and obtain approvals from the New York office.
  • Build and maintain strong agency relationships and ensure T&Cs are in place before engagement.
  • Use the All Hires portal to track and manage candidate pipelines, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordinate and support the interview process, from scheduling to feedback collection and candidate progression.
  • Draft offer letters and contracts, and ensure full compliance with UK immigration regulations.
  • Provide support across Business Services and Graduate recruitment when required.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years' recruitment experience within a global law firm is essential.
  • Strong understanding of the legal recruitment market and current hiring trends.
  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple vacancies and high candidate volumes.
