Job summary

Trust Housing Association is seeking a Later Living Support Worker at Parkhead Court, Dumfries. You’ll help older people stay independent, safe and connected by providing housing and wellbeing support, maintaining tenancies and encouraging community participation.

Typical day includes practical tasks, supporting independence, responding to needs, and recording progress. This permanent, part-time role is 16.75 hours across 3 days weekly, with a 4-week rolling rota and pay at £14.04 per hour.

About The Role

As a Later Living Support Worker, you will help older people stay independent, connected and confident in their own community.

You will provide practical housing and wellbeing support, helping customers maintain their homes and tenancies, take part in community life, access services and feel safe within their development.

About You

We're looking for someone warm, reliable and customer-focused who enjoys supporting older people, communicates clearly and respectfully, and can build positive relationships with customers, colleagues and external partners.

You don't need to be a digital expert, but you should be comfortable using online systems, emails and digital records as part of your day-to-day work.
