Job summary

Rygor Group Ltd. is seeking a Lateshift Supervisor for our Kidderminster site to lead the late shift and ensure quality, safety and compliance in all vehicle maintenance and repairs.

You will coach the workshop team, prioritise jobs, and maintain clear communication with the workshop controller and customers. Qualifications

  • Must have Level 3 NVQ or City & Guilds or IMI qualification in LCV/HGV vehicle repair and maintenance.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills; able to manage a shift.
  • DVSA standards awareness and hands-on workshop leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the late shift in the workshop, ensuring quality and compliant repair and maintenance.
  • Motivate and engage technicians via email, phone, and face-to-face communication.
  • Identify worn and faulty components in accordance with DVSA standards.
  • Utilise Keyloop/Kerridge modules to support workshop operations.
  • Complete customer documentation and meet agreed time scales.
  • Demonstrate a positive team player attitude and flexibility with workloads.
  • Carry out vehicle maintenance and repairs, including wheel alignment and tyre fitting.

Lateshift Supervisor

Rygor Auto: Kidderminster

Basic: £54,000 - £57,000 OTE

Monday to Friday 12:30pm to 10:00pm

Your Role & Purpose

We are looking for an experienced and qualified Technician Supervisor to lead our late shift at our Kidderminster site. Your role will be to keep our customers' vehicles on the road, via quality, safe and compliant maintenance and ensuring the rest of the workshop team on shift are working on the right jobs at the right time, working with the workshop controller. The right candidate will be able to deliver an exceptional service and to the highest quality, whilst inspiring those around them to be their best.

Skills & Behaviours Required for this role

Day to day you will be:
  • Because you are at least level 3 (NVQ or City and Guilds or IMI Qualification) in LCV and HGV Vehicle Repair and maintenance qualified, you will be leading the way in the workshop with quality and compliant repair and maintenance.
  • Via fantastic communication skills via email, telephone, and face to face you will lead the technicians on your shift, ensuring they are motivated and engaged.
  • You will be identifying worn & faulty components in accordance with the DVSA Standards
  • Using all appropriate modules of Keyloop/Kerridge
  • Completing customer documentation while working to agreed time scales
  • Being a brilliant team player
  • Demonstrating a positive attitude and being flexible with workloads
  • Carrying out vehicle maintenance and repairs, including wheel alignment and tyre fitting.
