Job summary

Stagecoach Cambridge is hiring a Shunter/Cleaner for the late shift (17:30–02:30). The role involves preparing vehicles for service, cleaning the fleet to high standards, shunting and parking within the depot, and performing basic daily checks. A full UK driving licence is essential, with PCV/HGV being a bonus.

Training will be provided, including PCP licence opportunities. The position is full-time based at Stagecoach Cambridge Depot, offering a competitive hourly rate with enhanced overtime,

Qualifications

• A full UK driving licence is essential.
• A PCV or HGV licence would be a bonus.
• Flexibility to work late/night shift rota.
• Strong work ethic and team-friendly attitude.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles for the next day’s service.
• Wash and clean interior and exterior of fleet to high standards.
• Shunt and safely park vehicles within depot.
• Check fluid levels and carry out basic daily checks.
• Maintain a tidy working environment and premises.
