Job summary

Enva in Colwick is seeking a Redox Picker to meticulously sort recyclable materials on the picking belt and assist with plant operations. The role includes maintaining cleanliness, following safety procedures, and working as part of a team to meet production targets.

Experience in recycling is advantageous; shift work (including evenings/nights) may be required with appropriate PPE provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in recycling, waste management or warehouse operations is advantageous.
• Able to work in a fast-paced industrial environment and follow safety instructions.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work in shift patterns.

Responsibilities

• Sort and separate recyclable materials from a conveyor belt.
• Remove non-recyclable or hazardous items from the waste stream.
• Maintain quality standards by correct segregation.
• Monitor conveyor line and report faults or issues.
• Keep work area clean and hazard-free.
• Follow health, safety and environmental procedures.
• Assist with housekeeping and general plant operations as required.
• Wear and properly use PPE.
• Work as part of a team to meet production targets.
