Overview

Reporting to: Wrap Around Care Manager/ Deputy Head of Juniors

Contract: Monday to Friday, 3.00pm to 6.00pm, term time only.

Start Date: As soon as possible

Salary: £8,613pa

Role

The Junior School is seeking to recruit a Late School assistant to assist in providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children after school hours. The job is varied, and may involve working with our youngest children, helping to develop their participation in play; or those within key stages 1 and 2, supporting them with homework or helping to facilitate their wider interests, inside and outside the Junior School buildings. It will also involve helping to supervise the children's snack time.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children after school hours.
  • Work with youngest children on play and with KS1/KS2 pupils on homework or wider interests.
  • Supervise snack time.
  • Follow instructions from late school staff and work as part of a team.
