Job summary

Travelport is seeking a Regional controller for LATAM, responsible for accounting and reporting across four operating companies and related entities in Latin America, coordinating with local partners and BPOs. You will oversee month-, quarter-, and year-end close, ensure accurate statutory filings, review tax returns, and provide balance sheet and P&L analysis to boards and senior management.

Qualified or QBE accountant with Spanish or Portuguese language skills, strong Excel and MS Office, and

Qualifications

• Qualified or QBE accountant.
• Experience in a large multinational organization is preferred.
• Spanish or Portuguese language skills (written and verbal).
• Strong Excel and MS Office proficiency; experience with automated accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Direct and monitor local compliance and accounting partner activities in each country.
• Manage month-, quarter-, and year-end close timetable and coordinate outsourced providers.
• Ensure each legal entity’s results reflect its business model.
• Undertake accounting for complex/ unusual transactions.
• Drive process improvements and consistency across entities and regions.
