Job summary

Aon in London is seeking a Broker Back-Up Technician to support LATAM lines of business for clients and colleagues. The role blends technical review of reinsurance documents with coordination across regional offices in a hybrid on-site/remote setup.

You will handle slip uploads, subjectivities follow-ups, premium collections with accounting, and preparation of market submissions, working alongside brokers and LATAM specialists to ensure accurate, timely responses.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Spanish; Portuguese is a plus.
• Experience with reinsurance documentation and settlements is advantageous.
• Strong organisational and communication skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review reinsurance documentation and liaise with regional offices.
• Upload slips and endorsements for reinsurers’ agreements.
• Follow up on outstanding subjectivities and monitor payments with local accounting teams.
• Produce invoices for retro accounts and support special projects/ facilities.
• Assist with market submissions and presentations for new business or renewals.
• Collaborate with LATAM specialists to support diverse portfolios.
