Job description

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.

These are LAT/ locally employed doctor posts in paediatric emergency medicine suitable for candidates post FY2 equivalent and above and is relevant for those seeking a career in emergency medicine, paediatrics or general practice in the future.

There are multiple 6-month posts available from August 2025.

This is an opportunity to work in the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow which opened in June 2015. You will join an established emergency department team in delivering clinical care in our busy Emergency Department which sees over 70 000 attendees/year.

Applicants must have full GMC registration and a licence to practice.
