Job summary

Nicholas Associates Group Limited is recruiting Lashers based in Southampton to join our team for flexible, part-time shifts at the Port of Southampton. You will lash and de-lash cars and other vehicles as vessels come in, with full training provided and shifts arranged around vessel schedules.

Ideal candidates will have a UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points and be willing to cover day/night shifts across weekdays and weekends, including up to 12-hour break-free periods where required.

• UK driving licence preferred with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Lash and de-lash cars and high/heavy vehicles.
• Shifts depend on vessels entering the Port and are confirmed by availability.

08.00 to 20.00 hrs up to 12-hours
Ad hoc shifts
£13.58 per hour
We are currently looking to recruit a team of Lashers to work with our clients across the Port of Southampton. This role is perfect for somebody looking for part time, flexible hours. Shifts will be dependent on lashing vessels coming into the Port and will be confirmed to you, depending on your availability.

The role:

• Lashing and de-lashing cars & high & heavy vehicles
• Full training provided
• Physically demanding role
• Shifts available dependant on vessels into the Port

The ideal candidate:

• Ideally have a UK driving licence with less than 6 points, so you can cover driving shifts during quieter periods to boost your income
• Be flexible to working both days/nights across weekdays and weekends
• Available to work up to 12-hour shifts
