Job summary

Nicholas Associates Group Limited is seeking reliable Car Drivers for immediate start in Southampton. You will move new cars around the port, discharge and dispatch vehicles, and operate in a busy logistics setting with attention to safety.

The role involves driving cars and vans, navigating tight spaces, and adhering to site procedures. Temporary, ad hoc hours; day shifts; and a variety of vehicles to handle make this a hands-on position for reliable, punctual drivers.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence held for at least 1 year.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• Confidence driving and manoeuvring cars and vans.
• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious approach.

Responsibilities

• Discharging and dispatching vehicles.
• Driving and manoeuvring cars and vans in tight spaces.
• Following site procedures and maintaining high safety standards.

Car Drivers

Immediate start

Based in Southampton
£12.71 per hour
Day Shifts 08.00 to 20.00

We are looking for reliable and confident Car Drivers to support operations at the port of Southampton. This is a great opportunity for candidates who enjoy practical, hands‑on work and are comfortable driving a range of vehicles in a busy port environment.

The role

Working as part of the vehicle operations team, you will be responsible for moving new cars safely and efficiently around the port.

• Discharging and dispatching vehicles
• Driving and manoeuvring cars and vans in tight spaces
• Following site procedures and maintaining high standards of safety at all times

What we're looking for

• A full UK driving licence held for at least 1 year
• No more than 6 points on your licence
• Confidence driving and manoeuvring cars and vans
• A reliable, punctual and safety-conscious approach
• Previous port, compound, driving or vehicle-handling experience would be an advantage, but is not essential
