Laser Sales Estimator

Laser Sales Estimator £42K a year, permanent position, flexible working hours, 28 days holiday, growing business, friendly team.

Location: Elland

The Laser Sales Estimator position is with a company that is part of a group of businesses that are market leaders in their field. The Sheet Metal side of the business has had significant investment to grow further, and we now seek a Sales Estimator to join the team.

Responsibilities:

1. Create quotes from drawings/models.
2. Convert successful quotes to orders.
3. Maintain and improve existing customer relationships, building a full understanding of our internal cutting, press braking, and CAD offerings to ensure comprehensive guidance to both existing and prospective customers.
4. Sourcing and managing new and existing customers.
5. Seeking continuous individual and departmental improvements.
6. Produce workflow job sheets along with production drawings.
7. Communicate with customers about order progress, providing excellent customer service throughout.
8. Produce accurate estimates, costings, and written quotations.
9. Log and update incoming enquiries and outgoing quotations, ensuring transparent processes.

Desired Skills:

1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
2. Outgoing and friendly both in person and over the telephone.
3. Good organisational, numeracy, and computer skills.
