Laser / Punch Operative

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Laser Operative to join a fast-growing company at its state-of-the-art fabrication facility on the outskirts of Preston. This role is offered on a 26-week contract basis, with the strong potential to transition into a permanent position for the ideal candidate. With a starting pay rate of £13.00 per hour (based on experience), you will have the chance to become part of a dynamic team during an exciting phase of company expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Load and run laser cutting programs
2. Select and load appropriate materials
3. Set machine parameters and centre the nozzle
4. Clean the lens and perform routine maintenance
5. Break out laser-cut parts and mark them correctly
6. Follow safety protocols and operational guidelines
