Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking a Laser Programmer in Luton, offering progression into applications engineering and technical support. The role includes training on machines, software, and client-facing demos, with hybrid working and potential visits to blue-chip sites.

You will join an experienced engineering team to build product knowledge and take ownership of customer demo strategy and internal support, with a pathway into applications/senior technical roles.

Qualifications

• Experience in CNC laser programming.
• Skilled in CNC sheet metal working and mechanical tolerances.
• Holds NVQ, City & Guilds, or a degree in mechanical/production engineering.

Responsibilities

• Support and deliver technical demos on CNC laser and punch press systems.
• Office-based with hybrid working and client site visits.
• Provide pre- and post-sales applications support for CNC machinery.
