Job summary

Nicholas Associates Group Limited is seeking a skilled CNC/Multi-axis Laser Programmer to join our Redditch manufacturing facility. You will develop programs for multi-axis laser machines and drive process improvement in a precision engineering environment.

The role involves writing manufacturing methods, SOPs, leading NPDI and production deliverables, and ensuring tooling and audits are addressed. Commutable from Redditch and surrounding areas; a hands-on engineer will thrive here.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of CAM software and multi axis CNC machining processes.
• Solidworks experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Creating programs on multi axis laser machinery.
• Writing methods of manufacture, work instructions and SOPs.
• Lead and support process improvements and problem-solving initiatives.
• Own Manufacturing Engineering deliverables across NPDI, Production, Purchasing and Quality.
• Ensure tooling supports safe, robust, and efficient processes.
• Participate in audits and drive corrective actions for continuous improvement.
