Job Title: Full-Time Laser Programmer with CAD Experience
Location: Maidenhead, SL6
Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 per annum
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time (40 hours per week)

We are a leading stainless steel fabricating company based in Maidenhead, specialising in the fabrication of high-quality stainless steel components for a variety of industries. Due to our continued growth, we are looking for a skilled and experienced Laser Programmer to join our team.

Role Overview:
As a Laser Programmer, you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating laser cutting machinery to fabricate stainless steel components to the highest standards. You will utilise CAD software to generate cutting instructions from technical drawings, ensuring quality control and precision throughout the production process. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with laser programming and CAD design, particularly in a stainless steel fabrication environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Programme and operate laser cutting machines to exact specifications for stainless steel components.

  • Use CAD software to interpret technical drawings and produce laser cutting instructions.

  • Perform routine maintenance checks on the laser cutting equipment and address any operational issues.

  • Ensure all materials and processes meet the highest quality standards.

  • Work closely with the production team to ensure timely delivery of fabricated components.

  • Contribute to process improvements and machine optimisation to improve efficiency.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in laser programming, preferably within a stainless steel fabrication or manufacturing environment.

  • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).

  • Strong understanding of technical drawings and blueprints, particularly for stainless steel components.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and a focus on producing high-quality work.

  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations within a fabrication workshop environment.
