Responsibilities

• Carry out first-off inspections and ensure products meet quality standards.
• Identify and resolve production issues to minimise downtime.
• Work with Production Planning, Programming, Quality and Operations.

The Role

As the Laser Production Supervisor, you'll take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the laser department, ensuring production targets are achieved safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

Working closely with Production, Planning, Quality and Operations, you'll play a key role in maximising productivity, reducing downtime and continuously improving performance across the department.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a team of laser operators and production staff
• Manage the daily operation of the laser production department
• Ensure production schedules are achieved safely, efficiently and on time
• Allocate workloads and monitor departmental productivity
• Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machines when required
• Carry out first-off inspections and ensure products meet quality standards
• Identify and resolve production issues to minimise downtime
• Work closely with Production Planning, Programming, Quality and Operations
• Conduct return-to-work meetings, probation reviews and day-to-day people management
• Promote excellent housekeeping and Health & Safety standards
• Liaise with Maintenance to coordinate repairs and preventative maintenance
