Qualifications

• More than 3 years industry experience in laser and press brake operation.
• Ability to follow DXF drawings and read engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Laser and Press Brake while reporting to the Fabrication Supervisor.
• Ensure maintenance of laser equipment and follow engineering specifications.

Laser / press brake Operative

Permanent Opportunity

Paying up to £16.00 - £19.00 per hour

Permanent role based in Loughborough, commutable from Coalville, Ashby de la Zouch, Leicester, Derby, and surrounding areas

Our client is looking for an experienced Laser and Press Brake Operative to join their expanding team.

Interviewing immediately

Start time: 07:30

Finish time: 17:00, Monday to Thursday

Overtime paid at a premium

Job Purpose

• To report to the Fabrication Supervisor
• To operate a Laser and Press Brake
• To read all engineering drawings

Candidate Requirements:

• Ability to set and operate both a Titan Laser and an Amada Press Brake
• Ability to follow DXF drawings
• Proven ability to set and operate an Amada Press Brake
• Ability to carry out maintenance on a laser
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Experience using hand-held power tools
• More than 3 years industry experience
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Organized individual
