Pulsed Laser Assembly Technician
- Precision Mounts: These are used to securely hold laser modules and optical components in place. They come in various types, such as standard mounts, precision mounts, and ball-joint mounts
- Optical Alignment Tools: These include alignment lasers, beam profilers, and optical breadboards to ensure precise alignment of optical components.
- Adhesives and Epoxies: Specialized adhesives and epoxies are used for bonding small optical components. These adhesives are often designed to withstand high temperatures and provide long-term stability.
- Microscopes and Inspection Tools: High-resolution microscopes and other inspection tools are used to examine and verify the placement and quality of small optical components.
- Target Manipulators: These are used in pulsed laser deposition systems to hold and position targets accurately. They can include features like motorized target selection and rotation
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize laser system designs and processes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, adjustments, and test results.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines for handling laser equipment.
Requirements
- Associates Degree, preferred.
- Organized, energetic, reliable, timely, detail oriented.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Team oriented thinker.
- Ability and desire to handle work of diverse scope and complexity.
- Ability to support the team across a wide range tasks. Additional Requirements:
- Lifting of items up to 50 pounds will be required, walking, standing, lifting and reaching.
