Large Loss Injury Claims Handler

Location: Sussex or Manchester (hybrid / remote / condensed hours)

Barker Munro Recruitment Ltd is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Large Loss Injury Claims Handler to join our dynamic client. This is an exciting opportunity to manage catastrophic personal injury claims potentially exceeding £1 million.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively manage a caseload of complex catastrophic personal injury claims, including spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, and limb amputations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, external solicitors, and stakeholders to ensure timely and professional settlement of claims.
  • Negotiate fair and satisfactory settlements for all parties involved.
  • Analyze complex claim information with high accuracy and attention to detail in documentation.
  • Build strong relationships with reinsurers, panel solicitors, and other stakeholders.

Skills Required:

  • Strong negotiation skills with experience handling large loss claims in excess of £500,000.
  • Background in law (Solicitor) or insurance industry.
  • Analytical mindset for informed decision-making.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently and proactively.
