Job summary

A signage and wrapping company located in Ashford, Kent is seeking a Large Format Printer & Vinyl Finisher. You will produce high-quality graphics, manage stock, and interact with clients face to face. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience in large format production and is proficient in relevant software. Hours are Monday to Friday with potential for overtime.

• Full & clean driver's license.
• Experience dealing with clients face to face.

Large Format Printer & Vinyl Finisher
Ashford, Kent
Salary up to 35k DOE
Mon-Fri 08:30-17:00 plus overtime

Job description:

My client is an Ashford based, Signage and Wrapping company, operating for over 25 years. Using the latest technology and experience of their team they deliver everything their clients need from large building signage installations to custom vehicle wraps and even workwear.

Being a part of the Production & Installation Team, you will play an important role in producing graphics for a wide range of applications on Large Format Printers and Vinyl Plotters, to a high standard whilst ensuring they are ready for installation on time. Attention to detail and a hands-on approach are critical for this role.

Being a client facing role, you will be able to conduct yourself in client meetings; in person and on the phone, while pricing and quoting for jobs.

Hours/Location of Work

You will be responsible for:

• Producing Graphics on deadlines, to a high standard
• Manage stock and keep track of materials needed for work
• Cutting, weeding, laminating and mounting vinyls, trimming and finishing
• Taking orders on the phone or face to face client interaction (open plan office)
• Exporting files ready to print
• Aiding in organising the production schedule through the diary resolving any conflicts ahead of time.

Essential Experience:

• Graphic / large format / signage production on vinyl Plotters and large format Printers
• Onyx or equivalent RIP software
• Corel Draw or Adobe software for exporting/editing files
• Full & Clean Driver's License
• Minimum 2 years in large format production
• Dealing with clients face to face
