Job summary

Kairos Recruitment is seeking a hands-on Large Format Print Operator for our Derby-based production team. You will manage end-to-end production of high-quality graphics using UV flatbed/roll-to-roll and dye-sublimation printing technologies, ensuring accuracy, speed, and attention to detail.

The role requires experience in large format print or similar environments, with familiarity in Caldera, Fiery, Onyx, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Qualifications

• Experience in large format or digital print environments.
• Ability to set up and operate UV/ dye-sublimation printers.
• Familiarity with RIP software and print finishing processes.
• Capable of meeting tight production deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate large format printing equipment (UV/ Dye Sublimation).
• Prepare and RIP customer files for production.
• Use Caldera, Fiery, Onyx, and Adobe Creative Suite software.
• Maintain print quality, color consistency, and machine upkeep.
• Support finishing tasks including trimming, laminating and mounting.
• Work to production schedules and deadlines; keep workspace safe and organised.
• Provide support to wider production team as needed.
