Job summary

Merson Signs, based in East Kilbride, is seeking a Graphics Production Operator to join its team. The role involves producing high-quality large-format graphics using EFI VUTEk QS2 UV and HP Latex 360 printers, with responsibility for substrate selection and print preparation.

You will manage print jobs from approved artwork, ensure colour accuracy, and maintain print quality throughout production. The position offers a four-day workweek with Friday off and opportunities for training and career

Qualifications

• Experience operating EFI VUTEk QS2 and/or HP Latex 360 printers.
• Experience with a variety of print media and substrates.
• Knowledge of large-format digital print production.
• Understanding of colour management and RIP software.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to manage multiple jobs and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality large-format printed graphics and meet production deadlines.
• Prepare and manage print jobs from approved artwork and select substrates.
• Operate EFI VUTEk QS2 UV and HP Latex 360 printing equipment to achieve accurate results.
• Oversee quality throughout production, check colour consistency and print accuracy.
• Check artwork files for print suitability and use RIP software to manage queues.
• Trim, mount, laminate and finish graphics and package for dispatch or installation.
• Carry out daily printer maintenance and monitor ink levels and consumables.
