Key Recruitment Ltd. is partnering with a leading technology-driven marketing solutions provider in the East Midlands to fill a pivotal printing production role.

The successful candidate will oversee the printing process from start to finish and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. You will lead production staff, coordinate workflow with other departments, and drive continual process improvements to maintain high quality and cost control.

Qualifications

• Experience in the printing industry.
• Knowledge of printing processes and techniques.
• Experience with AGFA, Mimaki, Swiss-Q, HP and related equipment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Job description

My client is a leading supplier of technology-driven marketing solutions with particular expertise in supporting multi-site organisations, such as retail, leisure, franchise and corporate groups with various office or production sites.

Hours:

• Monday – Friday
• Working hours 8:30am to 5:30pm flexibility, as additional hours may be required when the business demands require
• Overtime
• Flexibility
• Weekend availability

The Role:

• Oversee and manage the printing process from start to finish.
• Ensure that all printing projects are completed on time, within budget and to the highest standard.
• Overseeing and coordinating the workflow of the production process.
• Evaluating and improving production processes
• Ensuring quality and cost control
• Develop workflow and production processes.
• Plan, organize, and control production processes.
• Managing production staff.
• Monitor production to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Maintain production records and files.
• Review job orders.
• Coordinate production activities with other departments.

Requirements:

• Experience in the industry
• Knowledge of printing processes and techniques
• Knowledge of the following machines: AGFA, Mimaki, Swiss-Q and HP, Ana Perna, Kudu, Zund cutting table, H poster machines, FY trimmer cutting banners.
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
