Landscaping, Site Foreman / Supervisor
Salary: GBP45,000 to GBP50,000 + Vehicle

You will be joining a hugely successful Landscaping Contractor, in a pivotal role, taking responsibility for the soft landscaping associated with large infrastructure projects and major commercial / industrial developments. The company has recently won a number of significant projects and has a full order book for the coming year. They are looking for a Foreman to take responsibility for the largest sites that involve substantial planting schemes. You will need to maintain a clear understanding of the drawings and specifications, provide the client with a dedicated project manager, and manage your team to ensure that the works are completed on time and to specification.
The Job:
The Site Foreman will take responsibility for managing consecutive sites in the Home Counties. You will have responsibility for all aspects of the site operation and the management of the workforce. Working together with your team of 5 or 6 operatives, you will create landscaping schemes that include seeding, turfing, tree whips, and shrubs in very large quantities and across considerable areas. Some projects will include large specimen trees, and any experience in the transport and planting of these would be useful.
The Person:
You will have previous supervisory experience in a landscaping role and have good communication skills. Importantly, you will be hardworking with good attention to detail, diplomatic, and calm with clients.
