Landscaping Contracts Manager – Covering Edinburgh and Central Belt

Are you an experienced Site Manager from a landscaping or civils background looking to take the next step in your career? We are recruiting for a Landscaping Contracts Manager for a growing Landscape and Gardening company for works in Edinburgh and Mid Lothian.

The Role:

As a Landscaping Contracts Manager, you will oversee the successful delivery of landscaping projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to clients' expectations. You will work closely with site teams to drive efficiency, maintain health & safety standards, and manage project costs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Overseeing multiple private landscaping projects from inception to completion
  2. Managing site teams of 2-4 people per site
  3. Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to client specifications
  4. Maintaining health & safety compliance across all sites
  5. Liaising with clients and directors to ensure smooth project delivery
  6. Preparing progress reports and monitoring project performance
  7. Managing procurement and material supply for projects

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience as a Site Manager in landscaping or civils projects
  2. Strong leadership and organisational skills
  3. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  4. A good understanding of landscaping and gardening
  5. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  6. Currently based in Edinburgh and valid driving license is essential
