This seasonal role within our Grounds & Landscaping department offers a fantastic opportunity to join our growing team, maintaining the grounds, gardens, and surrounding areas of Taymouth Castle for members, guests, and visitors.
Responsibilities vary according to the season and weather conditions and may include tasks to maintain the health and appearance of grass, trees, and plants. There is always a variety of tasks in this stunning environment!
Effective communication and teamwork are essential in this role, which is ideal for individuals who enjoy interacting with people.
About the role:
Join a dedicated team supporting refurbishment and development projects. This role is suitable for Grounds & Landscaping professionals willing to go the extra mile, supporting team efforts and bringing a positive attitude to work each day.
Key qualities include punctuality, motivation, and pride in your work. You will ensure proper procedures are followed when using machinery, tools, fertilizers, and pesticides, and provide updates on garden and environment conditions.
Continuous Professional Development (CPD) is encouraged to keep skills current and promote safe working practices.
You will report faults and support the smooth operation of facilities, working collaboratively to meet business objectives and adhering to company policies, including waste management regulations.
About you:
This role offers variety and challenge. Experience in a similar environment is advantageous but not essential. A love for the outdoors and environmental maintenance is important. You should maintain professionalism and a welcoming approach when engaging with members, guests, and visitors. A full UK Driving License is required, and relevant qualifications are a plus.
