Qualifications

• Experience in wildlife conservation or countryside management.
• Experience undertaking wildlife surveys or habitat assessments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work with partners and communities.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of wildlife conservation and habitat management programmes across various habitats (woodlands, wetlands, grasslands, upland).
• Conduct habitat surveys, species monitoring and biodiversity projects; collect and analyse ecological data.
• Contribute to reports, maps and management plans to support practical conservation.
• Assist with species management programmes including red squirrel conservation and deer management.
• Coordinate monitoring, habitat management and conservation activity with landowners, volunteers and partner organisations.
• Support project planning, reporting and funding applications to secure and deliver projects.
