Job summary

Hambrooks Landscaping is seeking a customer-focused role based at the Curdridge offices near Southampton. You will take garden concepts from initial consultation through to completion, blending design, sales and project management in a varied role.

The position involves office duties and regular visits to client sites, with opportunities to lead projects across the Southampton area and beyond.

Qualifications

• Design experience or a design qualification.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Live within a reasonable commuting distance of SO32.

Passionate about landscaping and great with customers?

Join Hambrooks Landscaping and help turn garden ideas into completed projects. You'll work with customers from initial consultation through to project completion, combining design, sales and project management in a varied and rewarding role.

Based at our Curdridge offices near Southampton, Hambrooks has been designing, building and maintaining gardens across Southampton, Winchester, Portsmouth and the surrounding areas for over 55 years.

The Role

Turn garden ideas into completed projects.

From the first customer meeting to the final handover, you'll take ownership of the entire journey. You'll listen to clients, develop design solutions, prepare quotations, secure projects and oversee delivery, working closely with our landscaping teams to create outstanding gardens.

This is an office and customer-facing role, with regular visits to client sites across the local area.

What We're Looking For

• Excellent communication skills and confidence dealing with customers
• Professional face-to-face, telephone and email manner
• Proven sales, account management or customer-facing experience
• Design experience, a design qualification, or practical landscaping and horticultural experience
• Good organisational and project management skills
• Strong IT skills and willingness to learn CAD, KeySCAPE, SketchUp and other digital tools
• Full UK driving licence
• You'll need to live within a reasonable commuting distance of SO32
